For organizations publishing adventures on Nostia
Effective August 10, 2026
These terms apply to organizations — tourism boards, museums, campuses, business improvement districts, and similar entities — that author and publish adventures through Nostia Orgs. They are in addition to the Nostia Terms of Service, which continue to govern individual use of the Nostia app.
Individuals who walk an adventure are covered by the consumer terms, not by these. Nothing here creates an agreement between an organization and the people who walk its adventures.
You retain ownership of everything you author: adventure text, stop descriptions, reference photographs, logos, and accent colors. You grant Nostia a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, and display that content within the Nostia app and its marketing surfaces for as long as the adventure is published, and for a reasonable period afterward in cached or archived form.
You confirm that you hold the rights to everything you publish, including photographs of places, artworks, and signage, and that publishing it through Nostia does not infringe anyone's rights.
Completing a stop requires a walker to be physically inside the stop's area, and may require a photograph. Location is used to perform that check. Photographs submitted by walkers are used to verify the stop and are subject to the retention schedule in the consumer terms.
Reference photographs you upload are stored separately from walker submissions. They are never served to the app, are retained for as long as the adventure exists, and are covered by these terms rather than by an individual's privacy policy.
You receive aggregated, anonymized analytics: view and start counts, verified completion rates with their denominators, group participation, corroborated completions, per-stop drop-off, and median ratings.
You do not receive identities. User identifiers are removed before analysis, figures are aggregated over time windows, and aggregates covering only a handful of people are withheld entirely until enough walkers have taken part. Nostia does not provide, and you may not request, data identifying who walked an adventure.
You choose where your adventure sends people. You are responsible for confirming that every stop is on publicly accessible ground, is safe to reach on foot, and does not direct anyone onto private property, into traffic, or into an area with restricted access or hours.
You will indemnify and hold harmless Nostia LLC against claims arising from the content you publish or the routes you direct people to walk, including claims of injury, trespass, or infringement. Nostia hosts and distributes what you author; it does not inspect or approve your routes.
Access to authoring, analytics, distribution, and branding is sold as a subscription. Fees, billing interval, and included limits are those shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are purchased on the web and are not sold through the App Store.
If a subscription lapses, published adventures stop accepting new starts and analytics become read-only. Your content is retained and is restored if the subscription resumes. Runs already in progress are allowed to finish.
You may unpublish an adventure at any time; it stops accepting new starts immediately. You may request deletion of your content and your organization's account, and Nostia will delete it apart from anonymized aggregates that no longer identify your organization or any individual.
Nostia may suspend or remove an adventure that is unsafe, unlawful, infringing, or that directs people somewhere they should not be. Where circumstances allow, notice will be given first.
